Realme Just Announced A New Smartphone Series For The 'Gen Z' Dubbed Narzo
Realme isn't stopping its smartphone launch onslaught with its number series (the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro). The company has now teased the arrival of a new smartphone series in India dubbed 'Narzo'.
Realme has revealed no details of what this device will entail, but only confirms that the new series should launch soon. This new series will sit alongside the company's existing C, X, number and U series in the smartphone portfolio. Similar to Vivo's recently introduced iQOO sub-brand, this new series is expected to release phones customized for the ‘Generation Z' i.e., it will be positioned for the youth.
We're not quite sure why Realme's introducing yet another sub-series, but we assume its POCO that the company's after.
The new Narzo series was teased by the company's official handle on Twitter, and its slated to be ‘coming soon'. The company has introduced a dedicated page to reveal more information about the new smartphone series as well with a poster that shares the newly assigned logo for the series, along with words like ‘Bold', ‘Unique', ‘Power', and ‘Gen Z'. These words again indicate that the new series will be positioned towards the youth, and its strong points will be its design and battery.
The page also confirms that Realme Narzo will be a ‘complete series with Max performance in the segment, and that it's ‘a unique series customised for Generation Z.' To attract a bit more cringe value, there's also a new dance number that has been released, to celebrate the arrival of the fresh Realme Narzo series.
In all of these teasers, there's no glimpse of the phone, so there's no clarity on how the first phone in the new series will look like. A report from 91Mobiles, however, does cite an anonymous source to claim that we should see two variants of the first Realme Narzo phone released soon. Expect to see Realme and its Twitter handles announce more details at sporadic intervals about the new series.
