Instagram Will Soon Allow Users To Block Multiple Accounts From Comments Section

Instagram has been playing around with new features. Jane Manchun Wong, a tech blogger who posts updates about new features before their launch, posted on Twitter, that Instagram is testing a feature that lets users restrict or block multiple accounts directly from the comments section. The move is aimed to help deal with cyberbullying over Instagram comments.

“Instagram confirmed this as a test, as part of their ‘broader efforts to help people fight bullying and harassment’ on the platform,” mentioned Wong on Twitter. The feature is already available for iOS users and the company now wants to release it for Android users too.

Wong also tweeted about another feature in mid-feb 2020, about a feature that’ll allow users to check out the latest posts that they might have missed on while they were off Instagram.
