Upcoming ASUS ROG Phones To Come Pre-Installed With Google Stadia
Since its launch in November last year, Google Stadia was available only to Pixel owners.
But this week, Google announced that the cloud gaming service will be available to a wider range of smartphones, including the new Samsung Galaxy S20 series. Now, ASUS, in partnership with Google, will pre-install Google Stadia on the next ROG phone.
It was announced that ASUS ROG Phone and ROG Phone II along with over 20 other smartphones will now support Google Stadia. According to XDA, ASUS stated that along Stadia will also be pre-installed on every next-generation ROG Phone in applicable territories. Additionally, the partnership will last until 2021 and limited to the 14 countries where Google Stadia is available. Sadly, there is still no update on when Google Stadia will come to India.
Google is trying to expand its Stadia user base not just by increasing the availability of the platform. It is also increasing the availability of games on the platform. The cloud gaming service is working on expanding its initial library of some 20 games, by adding 120 games in 2020. It is also trying to attract users by offering 10 undisclosed exclusive titles, in addition to Tequila Works' Gylt.
