'Krrish 4' Confirmed By Rakesh And Hrithik Roshan, Tease a Jaadu Reunion

Krrish fans will be happy to know that the Rakesh Roshan helmed franchise starring Hrithik Roshan is back in the works. It was only in 2018 that the producer and director had announced the fourth instalment of the franchise as a Christmas 2020 movie. Since then, the schedule changed due to his cancer diagnosis. The good news is that he has made a complete recovery and is all set to busy himself with the script of Krrish 4. Moreover, Hrithik Roshan let it slip that there will be a Jaadu connection.

The Roshans are brainstorming over Krrish 4 in quarantine amidst the pandemic and if Mumbai Mirror's reports are to be believed, scripting for the next film in the franchise is underway already. Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan along with a team of writers have been hard at work and they have picked the hype-worthy idea of reintroducing Jaadu to the films and to Krrish. In Krrish 3, Rohit Mehra dies and it would make sense for Krrish to "meet the alien who gifted him his special powers". Hrithik Roshan also dropped a major plot teaser when he said: "Yes, the world can do with some Jaadu now,".

Jaadu was last seen in Koi Mil Gaya which was a smashing box office hit. The Hrithik Roshan and Priety Zinta starrer introduced Jaadu, a loveable blue alien who befriends Rohit and shares some of his mysterious powers with him. That happened 16 years ago, feeling old yet? Koi Mil Gaya is where the tale began and if Krrish 4 is to have a Jaadu comeback, it would mean a cool throwback and an easy recall for fans.

Hrithik Roshan is going into Krrish 4 discussions right after the spectacular success of War. Krrish 3, however, didn’t leave its fandom very happy and was rated rather poorly. Hopefully, the fourth film will revive the fandom with Jaadu’s, well, jaadu.
