Apple plans to start his own online apple store in India before ending 2020.

Apple has a plan to launch its own apple store in India from January to March quarter,
but we have the latest update in this plan so now apple is delaying this. we will get apple's own store in Q3 of 2020.

this was delayed due to Indian government had decided to ease FDI regulations back in August 2019. the Sources close this matter by assuming  the company needs more time to complete the back-end, official paperwork, logistics work which is also an important aspect for the Indian market  

The report also added that the company’s first physical store which will be inaugurated in Mumbai will take a few more months than the earlier deadline to set up and might not be ready this year.
